Casey began looking at colleges during her junior year in high school. She knew that she wanted to be in the northeast and in a major city. Philadelphia was out since it was too close to home. That left D.C., New York City and Boston. We decided to take a summer trip to Boston during which time Casey had tours of Emerson, Northeastern and the University of Boston. We also took the ferry from Boston to spend a day in Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. On the way home from Boston we visited Grandma Gil Feldman in the Catskills. To complete the trip, we stopped in NYC and took the ferry from the lower end of Manhattan to get a close up of the Statue of Liberty and to visit Ellis Island.
